The Rochester/Olmsted Planning Department is in charge of the following services:

Review proposed building construction for rural Olmsted County and Olmsted small cities; conducts plan reviews and inspections for conformance with the State Building Code; issues building, heating, plumbing and manufactured home installment permits.

Process well and septic permits - 507-285-8232
The office is located at 2122 Campus Drive SE.
